We are a new firm on the Gold Coast that focus on supporting businesses and individuals with expert advice and insights that help to promote growth. Founded by Daniel Parish, a leading accountant on the Gold Coast for the past 15 years, we aim to help business and individuals reach their full potential.
Red Dog Accounting has been a long-term goal for Daniel Parish as it ties back to his heritage and his love of the Australian Cattle Dog.
Having grown up on a farm in Coffs Harbour hinterland Daniel loved the land and working with horses, after finishing year 12 he moved to study agriculture in the Hunter Valley. This led Daniel to become a Jackaroo in Cunnamulla, QLD for over 3 years. This outback station spanned 250,000 acres of cattle and sheep grazing land.
This role moulded Daniel Parish into who he is today,
“being undoubtedly the hardest job I have performed in my career. Tough long days on horseback chasing cattle through scrublands and across dirt plains I was always supported by my two cattle dogs Tara and Gypsy. These loyal, hardworking, never say never companions were my best friends and colleagues. We could wrangle a herd of 1,000 head of cattle or 5,000 sheep in a day across 5 kms. These dogs are the founding soul of Red Dog Accounting, may I and my team always work as hard as Tara and Gypsy did, rest their souls”
